Each day, I set aside a few moments to focus on my goals. I immerse all of my senses into the daydream of what my life can be like once I’ve successfully attained my goals.

My nose can easily detect the prominent scent of nature in the air. My ears can hear the passersby whispering soft conversation. But most importantly, my sentiment takes center stage.

I become enthralled with a sense of fulfillment, undeniable joy and content. In my vision, my life is perfectly complete; no further adaptations are necessary in order to attain lifelong nirvana.

Though it may sound silly to lose myself in a daydream, I find this to be one of the most productive steps I can make towards my goal.

By envisioning myself in the future post-achievement of my goal, I am motivated to succeed. This prompts me to take a small step toward the right path each day, no matter how small the step may be.

My inner senses are my biggest defense against failure. No longer is my goal just a distant dream. By envisioning it daily, it becomes a part of me, a part of my destiny.

Today, I experience in my mind what it is like to live the achievement of my goal. This vision burns a fire under my feet that pushes me closer to my desired result.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Is my mind consumed with so much stress that I am unable to envision my goal?
2. Realistically, how far away is my goal?
3. How can I accelerate the rate at which I run towards my dream?
