Frustration is my foe. Therefore, I nip it in the bud.
I free myself from frustration because I am above negative energy. I cultivate positive energy, love, and joy in my life. Frustration is the polar opposite of this.
I know that I am in control of my mood. I am mature enough to take ownership of my feelings and I prevent the actions or inactions of others from controlling the way I feel.
I enjoy living life with a positive mindset because the grass truly is greener on this side! I am only given this one life; I refuse to worry it away.
My control extends only over myself. If someone else chooses to be rude, impolite, or even intentionally hurtful, that is their own decision. However, I can choose not to participate in their negativity.
Giving into annoyance would be the equivalent of allowing the person who annoys me to think that they are in control of me. For this reason, I choose to nip frustration in the bud by taking the high road.
If I feel myself becoming upset, when possible, I walk away from the situation at hand to give myself some time to regain my peace. Taking a few steps back from the source of frustration allows me to feel calmer and return to my naturally positive outlook.
Frustration can prompt me to respond negatively to others. I find this to be unacceptable, and choose to cultivate positive feelings instead.
Today, I value myself enough to banish frustration from my daily life. Regularly experiencing harmony brings joy and peace to my days.
