During the summer months, I love swimming in pools, beaches, rivers, and wherever else water can be found. The feeling of the cool water on my skin is refreshing.

Peace of mind frees me to enjoy summer activities. I am able to visit the swimming pool with my children and have an extraordinary time. My mind focuses only on having fun!

At the beach, I concentrate on enjoying my time with my family. When I lie on the soft sand and feel the warm sunlight caress my face, I can hear the waves calling me to get in the water. I jump up and dive in the water without hesitation.

My will to enjoy the water is stronger than the distractions of fear. I am confident about my safety. There are responsible lifeguards, whom I can trust, watching over the water and keeping swimmers safe.

Life is too short to waste any time worrying about things I cannot control. Instead of giving in to fear, I relinquish control.

When I go out with friends, I resist the urge to stay on the shore. I motivate myself to join in the fun. I can splash around and play water games with my friends.

Today, I choose to enjoy my time on the water with freedom. I open the door to emotional peace.
