Though undeniably challenging, raising my children is certainly the most rewarding job I have ever had. As a parent, I sometimes make mistakes. But overall, I always give my best effort because I love my children.
Each milestone in their lives lets me know that I am doing a great job as a parent.
I cherish my children for their individuality. Each one has individual strengths, talents, and abilities. I seek to encourage them by continually pointing to their strengths and unique gifts.
I enjoy facing the challenges of parenting head on. I relish each opportunity to teach my children right from wrong and watch them grow.
My children obey me because they respect me. In return, I consider their point of view as I make decisions that affect them. I treat them with kindness and respect as people who deserve a voice in determining their future.
My children are the center of my world, and I tell them often how much they mean to me.
When I make mistakes, as all parents do, I quickly apologize and seek to make it right. I continually find ways to nurture our relationship and create an environment where my children feel comfortable coming to me with the challenges they face.
I raise my children well. I love them unconditionally and teach them the lessons they need to learn.
Today, I give my best to my children. I support their success and encourage them to use their gifts. Parenting is fulfilling for me, as I enjoy watching my children grow, learn, and become all that they can be.
