The people I care about are people I want to keep in my life. I work to keep my loved ones happy and tell them that they matter to me. Because I am kind and loving to them, they are kind and loving to me. This keeps our ties to each other healthy and strong.

Each loved one has plenty to offer to me and to the world around me. I encourage them to follow their dreams and reach for their goals. When they get where they are headed, they thank me for believing in them.

I get great joy and peace from helping my loved ones. I let my loved ones know by my words and actions that I care about their lives. They respond by caring for me.

To strengthen my relationships, I choose to cultivate them. I see the tremendous value in investing my time and efforts in my relationships. For those closest to me, I am always there for them, ready to lend a sympathetic ear or helping hand. For those farther away, I make it a point to keep in touch with them regularly.

Each person I care about is special to me. Everyone has a unique value and purpose, and they all add to my life. I add to their lives, as well, and we benefit from one another.

Today, I appreciate and strengthen the ties I have to my loved ones.
