Jobs can be stressful, but I avoid allowing professional stress into my life. When stress comes my way at work, I just let it roll right off of me, like water off a duck’s back. I avoid getting bogged down by stressful situations.

I enjoy my job and the kind of work that I do. Because I choose to like my work, it is easier to let go of stress. There will always be challenges in a professional environment. I choose to see these challenges as opportunities and learn from them each day.

When I embrace all that my job has to offer – the benefits and the parts I enjoy the most – the stressful parts pale in comparison.

My joyful attitude is another choice I make which helps keep stress at bay. I work right through stressful situations and keep the peace that rules my heart.

My joy comes from within and on-the-job stress is extinguished by that joy. The happiness inside me helps me see the bigger picture and get through stressful moments with ease.

Work is what I make of it and I choose to make it a happy time. I also help others at my job to make choices that support their happiness in my workplace. In this way, I can reduce the tensions for all of us and my efforts reflect back on me with increased work satisfaction.

Today, I can enjoy my job without the interference of professional stress. My arsenal of peace, calmness, and joy sustains me though workplace challenges.
