I am living the good life. I like to attribute this to the fact that I have my priorities in order. Living a life of peace and love are my number one goals, and by pursuing these daily treats, the joy in my life is abundant.

Each day, I surround myself with those I love and those I enjoy spending my time with.

Just having a cup of coffee with an old friend boosts my spirits greatly. Enjoying quality time with my family in the evenings fills my heart to overflowing.

I truly believe that happiness is found through people, rather than electronics, cars, or other shiny new distractions. For this reason, I choose friends who are compatible with my personality and tranquil in nature.

I seek peace each day by indulging in relaxing activities, such as morning prayer, a morning run, or knitting. These are times when I can tune out the white noise from the world and truly be at one with my mind, body, and soul.

Though it may sound selfish to others, ensuring my personal happiness is one of the very first tasks on my daily to-do list. By ensuring my personal contentment, I can help brighten the spirits of others as well.

Today, I realize that life is a nonstop cycle of emotions. Instead of allowing depression, stress or fear to rule my life, I choose contentment and joy.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Am I one of my very first priorities?
2. Is the life that I am leading too stressful to relax and enjoy?
3. Can I alter my daily responsibilities to improve my quality of life?
