Truth is a conduit of peace. I have peace of mind when I release myself from the curse of lying. Telling the truth is always the right thing to do regardless of the circumstances.

Speaking truth eases my mind by saving me from the entangling power of lies. When I speak the truth, I do not have to remember what I said because the story always stays the same.

The truth always comes out. Speaking truth strengthens my credibility and allows others to trust me. I am free from the suspicion of others because my word is reliable. I refrain from hurting others with dishonesty. Instead, I honor my loved ones by speaking to them from my heart.

My relationships are strengthened by my truth telling habit. My loved ones trust me because they know I uphold myself to high standards. By being truthful, I escape questioning and fighting.

I speak the truth because it is the right thing to do, whether it is convenient or not. I have the courage to tell the truth even when it hurts, because telling a lie hurts much more.

I am responsible enough to face the consequences of my actions when I do something wrong. Lying to save face is never the right way to go. A punishment resulting from a confession is easier to live with than the tormenting effects of telling a lie.

Today, I choose to be truthful in all ways. I find the courage needed to be honest with myself. By telling the truth, I disarm condemnation and unlock peace.
