When life gives me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie!
Sometimes I am faced with a circumstance that is far from ideal. But regardless of the severity of the situation, I refrain from sitting around and feeling sorry for myself. I am too positive and productive to use my time in such a manner.
When life gives me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie! Most people opt for lemonade. But I believe that making lemonade is settling for second best. Sure, lemonade quenches a thirst. But what will satisfy my hunger?
I am hungry to succeed and live a high quality of life. Therefore, I am willing to put in the time and effort to see my dreams come true.
This is one of my many talents. I have the power to make any situation work for me instead of against me.
For example, if I were to lose my job, the normal approach would be to begin applying for new jobs. In my mind, that’s considered settling for lemonade!
In this circumstance, I would of course apply for jobs. But I’d apply for better paying, more desirable ones. Also, I would freelance my expertise on the side so I could maximize my possibilities.
Life is filled with so many opportunities. I chase these opportunities like a marathon runner. I have boundless energy to turn challenges into successes.
Today, I make a bad situation good. And in turn, I make a good situation better!
Self-Reflection Questions:

2. How can I increase my quality of life?
3. Do I crumble under pressure?
