I am confident in my ability to provide for my family.
I am a hard working professional, driven to succeed. For years, I put myself through rigorous schooling and now I am finally reaping the rewards. Little else compares to the joy that coming home to a happy, healthy family and a beautiful home brings to my heart.
Sure, there are days that I would rather stay home than go to work, but I walk into the office with my head held high because my family deserves the best. I am confident in my ability to provide for my family because I have a proven track record that I can do so.
At work, I consider myself to be a guru. I am an overachiever and exceed my employer’s expectations. This gives me job security and the ability to keep a stable income to provide for my family. However, it also opens the opportunity for an increased income down the line because I am due for a promotion any day now!
Though I make enough to support my family, I budget our money effectively and do my best to be frugal. Any little extras, such as HBO channels or flashy cell phone plans are nixed. I like to stick to the basics. Slashing costs here and there adds up to big bucks over the course of a year.
Having this pad in our bank account increases my confidence as a provider even more because our savings are increasing by the week.
Today, I pat myself on the back for being such a responsible, family oriented individual. My kids are enjoying their childhood to the fullest and that is all that matters to me!
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Am I realistic as to what quality of life my family can afford?
2. Will advancing my education help increase my income?
3. Can I earn a higher salary by simply working for a different employer in the same field?
